YACHIGA Tavershima

Lawyer. Public Policy Analyst. Corporate Event Host. Author.

Yachiga Tavershima

YACHIGA Tavershima is a lawyer, public policy analyst and entrepreneur based in Abuja, Nigeria. He practises litigation, property and real estate, corporate and commercial law, family law and Islamic inheritance law at Yachiga & Co., where he advises individuals, families and businesses through matters that call for both technical precision and genuine judgement.

He is a graduate of Benue State University and was called to the Nigerian Bar, with roots in the Kwande and Ushongo communities of Benue State. His interest in public policy runs alongside his legal practice: researching and writing on governance, regulation and development questions with the same rigour he brings to a legal brief.

Beyond the practice, he hosts and moderates corporate events and conferences, and is the author of Diary of a Retired Fraudster. He is also involved with Greentar Renewables Limited, a Nigerian solar and renewable energy company.
